From Monday 12 July, in the gardens of the Palazzo della Provincia there is the installation "Un Alloro per Dante - Collective tribute to Ravenna", a work conceived by the architect and designer Luisa Bocchietto, created by Regenesi in collaboration with the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Ravenna and the Province of Ravenna.
Dante in life was never credited with the coveted poetic recognition; today the city of Ravenna pays homage to him with a dedicated installation.
The work is positioned with the crown bare and prepared to accommodate the leaves starting from the inauguration which took place on Monday 12 July and until the end of the year.
A keychain in regenerated leather, handmade by Italian artisans and designed by the designer herself, contains the removable copper leaf inside and can be purchased from 12 July at the book-shops of the RavennAntica Foundation of the Dante Museum, of the Tamo Mosaico Museum, the Domus of the Stone Carpets, the National Museum of Ravenna, the Mausoleum of Theodoric and on the website www.regenesi.it.
With the purchase, you are entitled to free admission, for one person, to the Rasponi Crypt and the gardens of the Province (open every day from 2 to 6.30 pm, reservations recommended - 0544213371, reservations@criptarasponi.it).
At the time of installation, the participant will be entered in the register of donors - contributors, until reaching the expected number of 1423 leaves to be positioned for the conclusion of the work.
