On 16–17 May 2025, the Po River Blue Fest will make its debut – an innovative festival dedicated to climate change and the sustainable management of water resources in the Po River basin. The event is part of the European LIFE CLIMAX PO project, coordinated by the Po River Basin Authority and supported by 25 institutional and scientific partners.
Two days of talks, immersive experiences, artistic activities, and discussions between researchers, institutions, creative industries, and citizens. From the opening session in Bologna – featuring international experts, urban trekking, and film screenings – to the events in Ravenna, including walks through the San Vitale Pinewood, theatre performances, and cinema, the festival builds a bridge between science, culture, and active citizenship.
The focus is clear: turning awareness into action, experimenting with creative languages and participatory practices to tackle the challenges of climate change. A unique opportunity to rediscover the bond between cities and water, enhance natural heritage, and build a more resilient future together.
