Designed by Matali Crasset, the o-Re-gami range is characterized by products united by a soft romanticism. Sheets of regenerated leather (100% renewed and renewable) are skillfully folded by Italian craftsmen to highlight the various potential of the spaces, folds and cracks in the material. This lampshade is a story of two halves: the upper, and folded section, structures the object, while the lower perforated part plays with the solid and hollow aspects of the material, allowing light to pass through, creating a softer, lighter and more ancestral result. The interior is red. Available in beige and turtledove on request.
This article is made of 100% genuine regenerated leather, made of natural and renewable raw materials: leftovers from other products (mostly from the high fashion industry) tanned with vegetable substances, natural latex extracted from rubber plants, water, natural fats, salts and natural dyes. Although more complicated, the process is much more eco-sustainable than standard. The end result is a completely natural product, non-toxic, flexible and very resistant.
