Have you ever thought about what is an object made of? Matali Crasset – a French designer who deeply shared Regenesi’s philosophy- replied to this question in a very simple way.

Essential beauty, simplicity and multifunctionality are the elements of her ethical, modern and innovative design.

The identity of things

I think having land and not ruining it is the most beautiful art that anybody could ever want.”

These are the words used by the painter Andy Warhol on the subject of environmental sustainability. However, nowadays we don’t have a clue of what all the products that surround us are made of. We use products we purchase without knowing their history and without knowing the thought and the philosophy of those who designed them. When we talk about environmental sustainability, this lack of interest become, nevertheless, lack of awareness. Knowing the ID card of products we buy means starting thinking in terms of circular economy.

Matali’s philosophy

To design her creations Matali adopted naturally sustainable methods. This is the reason why her products consist of only one material. They are monomateric and they have an ethical soul. Modern beauty and flexibility are the ingredients of her eco and green design. However, the elementary structure doesn't mean simple meaning. All her creations encompass an internal message that we want to discover gradually with you.
