Regenesi Recognized Among the 100 Companies Shaping the Future of Made in Italy

A national award celebrates craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation by the Bologna-based brand

Bologna, July 2025
Regenesi, a Bologna-based company and a symbol of circular economy applied to fashion and design, has been selected as one of the 100 Italian companies featured in the campaign “Artisanship: The Future of Made in Italy”, promoted by Confartigianato, CNA, Casartigiani, and the Symbola Foundation, under the patronage of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

The recognition was awarded during the 23rd Summer Seminar of the Symbola Foundation, held in Mantua (June 12–14), and honors artisan businesses that are able to reinterpret the founding values of Made in Italy through a contemporary lens: sustainability, quality, culture, local identity, and innovation.

A distinctive element of Regenesi’s strategy is its technological innovation in service of sustainability. The company develops proprietary industrial processes for recovery and transformation of materials, standing out for its collaborations with companies across various sectors and with Italian research centers. These partnerships lead to shared green initiatives, helping to strengthen the Made in Italy production chain through an approach that integrates craftsmanship, material engineering, and design. Regenesi positions itself as a hub for experimentation and cross-disciplinary exchange, actively contributing to the competitive revitalization of the Italian manufacturing system.

Founded in 2008 by Maria Silvia Pazzi, Regenesi is a Made in Italy excellence that has made material regeneration its core strength. The company transforms post-consumer materials and industrial waste into fashion accessories and home and office objects with innovative design. Its history includes collaborations with internationally renowned designers, giving life to unique pieces—a vision that blends ethics and beauty, environmental sustainability, and aesthetic value.

«I’m honored to be part of this prestigious group of companies that tell the story of an Italy capable of innovating through its traditions,» - says Maria Silvia Pazzi, founder and CEO of Regenesi. - «Artisanship is not just a guardian of tradition, but a strategic driver of industrial innovation. This recognition gives us further motivation to continue our commitment, and it validates our path as a company working toward a more ethical, integrated, and replicable development model».

The campaign “Artisanship: The Future of Made in Italy” brought together companies from across the country, sharing business stories that represent a united, creative, and resilient Italy. Within this landscape, Regenesi stands out as a virtuous example of a company that has successfully transformed a sustainable vision into a concrete and internationally recognized industrial project.
