REGENESI, the brand known for its creations that span design, fashion, and art, presents a new project at Pitti Immagine Uomo 104 that emphasizes the word 'world'.
The word 'world' defines the totality of the dimension in which human beings live, and Maria Silvia Pazzi, the founder of Regenesi, has built her project with the goal of taking care of the planet and its inhabitants.
Once again, REGENESI chooses to support Iranian women through both a clear declaration and a concrete action.
With 'Re-spect', REGENESI introduces, for the first time, a collection of t-shirts in collaboration with the artist and activist Gianluca Costantini. This collection is a true manifesto, continuing the "Woman Life Freedom" project first presented in January 2023. Its aim is to raise awareness among both men and women about the issue of Iranian women's rights, using images that become a slogan, a statement, and a tangible act of support.
In line with the brand’s philosophy, the t-shirts are Made in Italy, crafted from 100% organic cotton and dyed with vegetable dyes. They are available in white, military, navy, and charcoal, and are customized with illustrations by Gianluca Costantini in the art style Channeldraw. These t-shirts are gender-neutral, but with a precise identity and a strong voice.
Maria Silvia Pazzi reflects on the significance of this collection: "This year the company I chose to found turns 15 years old, and giving birth to 'Re-spect' is my personal gift to myself and to Iranian women. My creations are born from discarded materials, because giving back dignity, giving new life means giving a new future or at least wanting to build it. Mine is a new way of conceiving fashion, one that tells not only what I like but also what is close to my heart."
In her efforts to actively support Iranian women, Maria Silvia Pazzi funds a scholarship for female students from Iran enrolled in the 2023/24 academic year at the Polytechnic University of Turin, specifically for Engineering courses. This initiative, funded through sales of the RE-FLAG bags and RE-SPECT t-shirts, aligns with REGENESI’s ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Since its creation in October 2022, following events in the Middle East, this scholarship is part of a larger corporate project. The proceeds from the collections directly support initiatives that fight for Iranian women's rights.
Once again, REGENESI serves as a spokesperson for an ethical message, where sustainability and social commitment are intertwined and essential parts of the same mission.
